3rd Bushcamp
Arrived in bushcamp around 5pm. The routine is to offload the kitchen and cooking gear and help the cook group set up. Then we unload our camping and sleeping gear and pitch our tents. Once we have this done, usually by nightfall which is 6pm around here, we gather near the truck, or in this case bus for dinner.
After dinner we were playing a quiz game when something moved. It was a huge black scorpion who, bold as brass, ran between us. Cheek. I was a bit more cautious as I walked around and glad my head torch was very strong and bright with an adjustable beam.
