Lunch stop at another bland mall. I had a chicken tandoori swarma. Pretty meh. There was a strong smell of sewage at the counter. Oops, hope this doesn’t lead to a more personal form of sewage disposal problems.
On the subject of sewage, I have noticed that the public toilets I have attended so far in Oman, have western type sitdowns and not the usual hole in the ground squatters. They also don’t provide toilet paper. Instead, they have a little shower type hose to, well, you know…
There were 2 sweet curious kids peering out at us from a crack in the door to a family room in the restaurant. They would giggle if we waved back.
Meal over so back on the truck…..
