Not a lot going on. I didn’t do much today really. The rest were going off on a hike up a mountain but with my bad foot, the last thing I wanted to do was clamber up a mountain, no matter how nice the view. So, I chilled in the heat.
Later on, I walked into the nearest village to top up my sim card, an epic undertaking in Africa. I finally found a little workshop at the end of a shabby laneway and waited in line with lots of big African mamas to have my phone topped up. They offered me a rocky plastic chair to sit on, which I did, not because I was tired but wanted to respect their gererousity and hospitality.
