Day 6427 January 2020 in Namibia ⋅ ☀️ 35 °C

Stopped for lunch at an eerie spot obviously used, either recently or in the past, by local people. There were signs of campfires and what looked like deserted campsites. One of the tattered shelters had what looked like a voodoo doll on the ground. It was a style I recognised as done by the local people whose name I cannot remember. They are a very old people who subscribe to many of the old traditions. The women don’t wear anything on top and put ocre mud in their breasts. After puberty, women don’t touch water and use various types of scented smoke to clean and deodorise themselves They put mud in their hair and are known as the mud people.
