Tete Cake Shop
Stopped here for cakes at this amazing Portuguese cafe. It seems to be owned by either a Portuguese guy or a guy of Portuguese heritage. Having trundled along for hours on truck it is great to get into somewhere cool with European cakes and coffee.
Tete was on the Tete Corridor which was well known in the days of Mozambique’s long running civil war as the Gun Run. Thankfully these days things are a lot different! Now it’s the Cake Run.
