Essaouira Nature Spirit Camp
I was on the cook group last night so as soon as we got back from town, it was chop and peel, sizzle and burn time. We used some food from yesterday and jazzed it up a bit with fried shredded cabbage mixed with old rice. It was surprisingly tasty. Once I had done my bit, I popped off to pitch my tent before it got dark. One of the guys helped me.
I slept well last night until about 7am. I went to sleep at 10pm. Must be the fresh air. As I was on cook group, I helped get breakfast set up.
Most of the group got a taxi to town at 10am. Some were returning at 2pm and some at 6pm. I had half decided to do the 2pm run but as my foot was hurting me from yesterday’s walk, I decided to give it a miss and laze around the pool, in the shade, instead and update my journal. A few others had the same idea. It’s nice to get a bit peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of overlanding.

The campsite is a nice peaceful place about 15km outside the town.
