Journey from Dakar to Palmarin

The most exciting part of the trip was reversing the huge truck out of a very tight parking space at the campground. Jordan, our charioteer did and excellent job and extradited us easily. The test of the trip was a doddle.

We made a detour to Lake or Lac Rose, (see previous blog) We also stopped at a supermarket to buy food for the next few days and lunch. I bough a delicious long baguette and cheese. I washed it down with a flash of mint tea I hade at breakfast. It was still hot. This will last for 2 days.

The campsite is huge and we have space to stretch out.
